1.27.07 cold ass ride

31 01 2007

My last ride was my last post… damn. I gotta get out more, i thought - so I did. I met up with a bunch of the wmba dudes on a cold saturday morning, some cool guys who showed me cool lines. Thanks guys. Of course, I documented everything with mr. helmet cam….

2.3.07 Sno-Ride

14 02 2007

It had snowed the friday evening before, and left an inch or two of fluffy dry white stuff. Perfect riding weather - the sun was out, the snowfall was still manageable and it was saturday morning gawdammit. I went for a ride with Pete, Woodster, Chuck, and Michael B.

Here is the evidence:

2.18.07 Crust-ride

14 03 2007

The craziest precip came down on valentine’s this year. We ended up with a 6 inch layer of frozen granular. This formed a crust that was easy to ride on top of, yet still provided fairly manageable traction in most spots. I’ve never seen anything quite like it, and I’m glad I got out in it. Witness it for youself….

So it’s been awhile….

28 06 2007

and while I don’t have any new footage to post, check this out-I busted up my fork pretty good the other day, and the lowers took a good sized dent. I had to get them replaced, and fox gave me a set with no decals. They’d probably charge extra for that, but all the better. This provided a nice canvass to get a bit wacky with, so on went some flames. I busted out my airbrush and bought some automotive paints. I’ve never done stuff of this nature, or size for that matter (I can rock a robot model though;) so I gave it a shot. Nothing too complicated, just some dandy flames - I may throw a decal or two on yet… and some clearcoat, or not

Fire Fork!

11.4.07 Throwdown at the Hoedown

7 11 2007

I went with a great group to some of the best riding our local trails have to offer. These woods are full of fun stuff. Thanks to the inspirations of the “WMBA degenerate freeride team” those of us less familiar with these trails were stepping things up. Everyone was on their game - and I’ve got some footage to prove it…. (137mb so right-click that download link buddy!)
